What Is Investor Access?
Investor Access, also known as an Investor Password, is a read-only access mode available in MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. It allows users to monitor a trading account directly from the trading platform without having permission to open, close, or modify any position.
This feature is commonly used for transparency, performance verification, account monitoring, and investor review. It gives clients a clear view of trading activity while keeping the account fully protected from unauthorized trading actions.
Read-Only Monitoring
Investor Access allows users to monitor the account without trading authority. It cannot open, close, edit, or delete any trading position.
Transparent Performance Review
Clients can review balance, equity, open trades, closed trades, floating drawdown, and trading history directly from MetaTrader.
Useful for Verification
Investor Access helps verify real trading activity and provides an additional transparency layer beyond screenshots or manual reports.
Secure Account Access
Since it is read-only, Investor Access is safer for performance monitoring because users cannot interfere with the trading system or account execution.
